Stadsspoor makes a walking route past the best sights of a city, based on what you like, how much time you have and where you start. You get a map and a list of stops. It is free and you do not need an account.

1. Choose a city and what you are in the mood for (history, museums, parks, views and more)
2. Say how much time you have
3. Walk the route and give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down, so it gets better for the next visitor

The route planner itself is in Dutch for now; the map and the route work the same. Background per stop comes from Wikipedia (Dutch, or English when there is no Dutch article).

Where the data comes from

Places come from Wikidata and Wikipedia, photos from Wikimedia Commons (with the photographer and licence), and the walking routes follow OpenStreetMap footpaths. Stadsspoor is not a guided or audio tour: you walk on your own.
